Content Developer Venlo in EINDHOVEN

Purpose of Position:
The work location is Venlo, Limburg
Content development (in CMS) according to agreed European strategy and guidelines.
Provide content services for European and local products in local language.
Work closely with local merchandising, marketing teams and the EU Content team to ensure best localizing and realizing of content for local products and that it’s available on time to support the launch of customer facing selling events.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Support merchandising department with localized copywriting and content for European and local products used on the local market and for promotional activities
- Support all touch-points by developing content according to the agreed standards for Print with respect to the institutional pages, flyers, brochures etc., for Sales and TAM with respect to their selling scripts, sales collateral etc. and for E-commerce with respect to the call outs / banners / email campaigns etc.
- Day to day content maintenance in CMS.
- Ensure a consistent level of quality for product copy and content for all internal and external media.

Functie eisen
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Professional Education
- Two to four years experience and/or training.
- Experience of working in either a B2B or B2C retail, distance selling or contract based business.
- Knowledge of products and of the office products industry preferable.
- Working within a matrix, local/central organisation.
- Valid passport with ability to travel internationally.
- PC literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Content management application or relational database.
- Ability to work competently with content and information within a system, using workflows and processes wherever necessary to achieve set tasks and activities.
- Local language spoken and written (French, Dutch, German), fluent knowledge of English, spoken and written.
- Accountable for the correct localization of copy and content.
- Achievement/results orientation; the ability to deliver results with energy and drive, to act decisively.
- Communication; the ability and confidence to communicate with colleagues across the
business and to suppliers/external parties.
- Interpersonal skills/empathy; the ability to understand people in order to gain cooperation and support and to enroll, and to be an effective team member.
- Analytical and interpretative; looking at issues in a logical and objective manner and being able to identify key causes and potential solutions quickly.
- Personal organization; the ability to organize and prioritize one’s own workload to ensure all tasks and deadlines are achieved in the most efficient and effective manner.
